Shou Art Commissions

After I have read and accepted your request, I will contact you with the price to confirm it with you. Once you have accepted the final price, I will send the initial invoice and can begin work once it has been paid.

I may contact you to get more information about your request if your response is not sufficient. If I do, it does not necessarily mean I have accepted the request.

ETAs for requests will vary, usually a few weeks for illustrations and about 2 or so months for vtuber work, however, this is just a guide and requests may take slightly more or less time than this and is subject to conditions such as complexity of the request and how many other requests are underway.

I reserve the right to post finished work and WIPs on my social media for self-promotional purposes. If required, you may let me know if there is a certain time until which you would like me to not showcase the work and I will be happy to accomodate for it (within reason).

If you decide to change your mind about the commission after work has begun, a kill fee will be applied equal to the amount of progress I had made on the commission. E.g., if I had completed 50% of the work, I will hand that over and refund the other 50% of the fee (if it had been paid yet).

I reserve the right to decline a request for any reason.

If an original character (or characters) do not have design images prepared, or only a description or basic reference images are supplied, a design fee may be applied.

For vtuber models and rigs, a complexity fee may be applied if there are large areas of detail or many moving parts.

Generally, payment will be half upon agreeing to the work and half when the finished work is delivered. I am open to discussing more flexible payment plans if needed.

Payment will be through Paypal invoicing, but alternate methods may be possible if required.

A few requested changes to finished work are provided free of charge, but significant additions, or more than a few small changes after the finished piece is submitted will be charged for on a quoted basis.
